After the first few days of motivated weight loss attempts with your gorgeous new figure on your mind, the anticipation often starts to disappear quickly when the scale does not show fast weight loss.
If we don't see effects within the first days or week, often we get discouraged and start cheating on our diet. Why going through all the trouble of weight loss when it doesn't work anyway? It does work, you must just adhere with it and don't set your expectations too high.
Once you have set up the basics, meaning you are eating less and being at least a bit more energetic, there is one more essential thing to do, you need to keep your motivation up and be patient. This is probably where most people not succeed.
And after we might have experienced some initial weight loss due to decreased water retention and less food in your body we often hit a plateau. This is the most difficult phase of your diet and any support is much appreciated as otherwise the chance of falling off |
